Dunlop

Dunlop was founded in 1888 in Belfast Ireland. Headquarters is located in Akron Ohio. Dunlop started by producing bicycle tires and later made a name for themselves through motorcar racing throughout Europe. The Dunlop brand was acquired by Sumitomo Rubber and the brand rights for North America was acquired by Goodyear in 1999.
